Advertisemen
Good morning to the respected Sir, Madam and my dear friends. We are gathered here to celebrate this occasion, so I would like to speech on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme today. This programme is launched by the Modi government regarding safety and protection of the girl child all through the country. This scheme was the urgent need of today’s time as without saving and empowering women of the country, development is not possible at all. Women cover around half population of the country so they are half power of the country. That’s why they need equal rights, facilities and opportunities to go ahead and contribute to the development of India.
This scheme is regarding girl safety, protection and better education in the future without much load on the parents. In order to support this campaign, the government of India has started another programme named as Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. This scheme involves in reducing the burden of parents at her young age. Because, according to this scheme, parents have to deposit some money in the bank on monthly basis for which they will get benefited in future at the young age of their girl child whether for the education or marriage. Such ambitious approach of government in the form of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme will surely bring positive changes in the status of women in India. It is launched by the government with well planned objectives, strategies and action plan to make it really effective.
It is to save the lives of the down trodden girls and give them opportunity of higher education so that they can be empowered and participate in all the working areas. According to this scheme, around 100 districts (having low CSR) have been chosen to take necessary actions first. This scheme is to improve welfare of the girl child by creating awareness about gender discrimination in the society. The proposal of big amount of Indian rupee has been passed for the women safety in urban and large cities of the country. This scheme alone can support only however cannot completely solve the problem of girl child, it needs to be supported by all the citizens of India. Rules and regulations, made to reduce crimes against girl child, should be followed strictly and there should be strict punishment on violation.
Thank You

BETI BACHAO BETI PADHAO SPEECH 3

Good morning to the Principal sir, sir, madam and my dear colleagues. My name is … I study in class … As we all are together to celebrate this special event, I would like to recite a speech today on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. I am very grateful to my class teacher to offer me such a great opportunity to speech on this nice topic in front of you. My dear friends, as we all well aware of the crimes against girl child and women in the Indian society, this scheme is to support them and empower them with their birth rights to live a normal life without any gender discrimination in the society. This scheme was the important necessity to eliminate the trend of ever declining Child Sex Ratio in the country for few decades.
The number of girl child of age group 0-6 years was reduced to 945/1000 in 1991, 927/1000 in 2001 and 918/1000 in 2011. It was a high pitch alarming sign to the Indian government to tackle to it. This scheme is the result of that alarming sign regarding reduction in the number of girl child. That alarming sign was the indication of total lack of women empowerment in the country. The reduction in girl child sex ratio was because of the pre-birth discrimination, sex selection and elimination, post birth discrimination, crimes, etc. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme is launched by the Indian government on 22nd of January in 2015 to address the issue of decreasing girl child number in the country. It is a national campaign launched to focus on main target all over the country especially in 100 selected districts with low CSR. It is a joint initiative supported by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Human Resource Development and Ministry of Women and Child Development.
The main goal of this campaign is to save the girl child and educate the girl child all over India. Other objectives are eliminating the gender biased sex selective abortions and ensuring survival and protection of girl child. It is to make them able to get proper education and a safe life. Around 100 districts, which are low in girl child sex ratio (as per 2011 census), have been selected for better and positive effects of this campaign. There are various strategies needed to be followed for the effectiveness of this scheme. It needs social mobilization and fast communication regarding equal value of the girl child and her education. Districts with low CSR should be targeted first to better improve the condition. There is need of awareness, appreciation and support by the end of all citizens especially youth and women groups for this social change.
